The Sprint home has just said that the 5G smartphone will be launched by OnePlus and thereby become the second US network provider of a Chinese company’s mobile phone, after the T-Mobile operator.
According to Reuters, Sprint currently offers a 5G package for 80 USD per month and is engaged in a sale with 5G support by major manufacturers of Korea and Taiwan, including the HTC 5G Hub phone Models , Samsung Galaxy S10 5G and LG V50.
However, this operator does not reveal the price and release time of the OnePlus support model that they will be selling in the U.S., but that could be a 5G version of the OnePlus 7 Pro just launched.
The continued sale of Chinese telephone in America by the carriers takes place in quite sensitive times, when the U.S.-China trade war is escalated and Huawei is almost completely quarantined from this market. OnePlus can be considered as a lucky exception while continuing to be licensed for sale in the U.S.
Sprint’s 5G network in the U.S. is now covered in Atlanta, Chicago, Dallas-Fort Worth, Houston, and Kansas City areas. It is expected that in the next few weeks they will continue to expand 5G coverage to other areas including Los Angeles, New York, Phoenix and Washington DC. Meanwhile, their rivals are the Verizon network and AT&T is also on the construction of the 5G mobile network throughout the United States.
